This Privacy Policy describes how Intelli Brand AI Inc. ("Alectiq", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our platform at contentos.app and related services. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the service:
- Account information: Name, email address, and business details you enter during onboarding.
- Brand information: Your website URL, brand description, uploaded documents (such as brand manuals), business goals, and target audience information you provide to build your Brand Brain.
- Payment information: Billing details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card numbers or banking information.
- Usage data: How you interact with the platform, pages visited, features used, and approval decisions you make on generated content.
- Content performance data: Where you connect social media accounts, we collect performance metrics (reach, engagement) from those platforms via their official APIs.
- Communications: Messages you send us through email or support channels.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver the Alectiq service, including AI-powered content generation and publishing.
- Build and maintain your Brand Brain — the persistent brand intelligence model that powers the service.
- Process your subscription payments via Stripe.
- Send service notifications: onboarding confirmation, content ready for review, monthly reports, and billing alerts.
- Improve the accuracy of AI-generated content for your specific brand over time.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Respond to your support requests.
3. AI Processing
Alectiq uses the Anthropic Claude API to process your brand information and generate content. Your brand data (including your website content, business description, and any uploaded documents) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate content. This processing is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy and data processing terms.
We do not use your brand data to train AI models, and we do not share your brand information with other customers of Alectiq.
4. Third-Party Services
- Stripe — Payment processing. Your payment information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — Secure database hosting for your account data, review states, and brand performance records. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Anthropic — AI content generation. Brand data is processed per Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Resend / SMTP — Transactional email delivery for service notifications.
- Meta (Instagram/Facebook) — If you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, publishing is performed via Meta's Graph API per Meta's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers hosted in Canada and the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- Encrypted database storage via Supabase.
- Row-level security ensuring your data is isolated from other customers.
- Secure session management with HttpOnly cookies and CSRF protection.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible for 30 days, after which it is deleted from our active systems. We may retain anonymized usage statistics indefinitely.
7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal obligations).
- Withdraw consent for certain processing activities.
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
